General
We are based in Tottington, Bury, but we can cover most surrounding areas. Journeys of over 2 miles may incur a surplus milage charge.
For home care, we will look after any domesticated animal, from goldfish to iguanas, rats to rabbits, stick insects to scorpions, and the obvious cats and dogs.
As far as boarding goes, if your pet has a transportable cage or vivarium, we will happily look after them for you.
We have many years under our belts of caring for a multitude of animals; dogs, cats, fish, arachnids, lizards (from geckos to iguanas), snakes (from corns to boas), rats, rabbits, and even giant African land snails and Madagascar hissing cockroaches.
Of course. We hold public liability insurance up to £1,000,000, and would even be covered if we were to lose your keys (not that we would lose your keys).
Indeed we are. Debbie’s certificate can be seen here
Indeed we can. Just let us know what needs to be done and we’ll do it. We always follow best practice and will record everything on a MAR sheet.
Indeed we do, though there may be a surcharge for this. Please see the fees page for full details.
It is always best to give as much notice as possible to ensure availability. For new clients, we usually request at least 72 hours’ notice to enable us to meet your pets beforehand.
If you and your pet are already registered with us, then we will do our best to accommodate you.
Before you can book our services you will need to complete some paperwork. This is to make sure we have all the information we need to provide the best service.
Just drop us an email or call us and we’ll go through everything with you.
For boarding and home visits, we request a deposit on booking, with full payment when we receive the keys or your pet. Regular dog walking is invoiced weekly in arrears.
Just give us a call. For dog walking, we request at least 24 hours’ notice, otherwise the full fee is payable. For boarding and home care bookings, we request 48 hours’ notice. In these cases, 25% of the full fee is due.
Dog Walking
We will always try to make sure that the same person walks your dog, though at times this may not be possible.
Unless we have explicit permission, we will not let dogs of the lead. If we do have permission, we will only do so in what we consider safe surroundings.
Not at all, though we need to know if your dog is in season when we are looking after them.
Of course. Our staff all carry bags and will dispose of waste responsibly.

Boarding/Home Care
You will need to provide anything that is required to care for your pet, including food and any medication that your pet is currently taking.
If we can’t contact you, we will get in touch with the emergency contact whose details we request on the registration form. If required, we will seek veterinary advice, the charges for which we will invoice to you on your return.
We will continue the service until we hear that you are home safely. Please try to keep us informed though.
Pretty much whatever you ask us to do. We’ll clean up after your pets, feed and water them, give them some attention – you name it.
While we will try to visit around the time you request, it may not always be possible. For multiple visits within a day, we will try to space these out as evenly as possible.
You can expect regular text messages, photos and updates while you are away.
Unfortunately not, though in some cases we may be able to provide credit against further services.
If we need to provide additional food or supplies for your pets, we will only invoice you for anything we have needed to purchase, plus travel time. We won’t inflate prices – we will only pass on what it has cost us.
We will usually board un-neutered dogs, though availability may be affected dependent on other dogs in our care.
